QuizAura

An aura score is just the first minute

What strangers have time to notice, and what they don't.

Aura, on this site, is a nickname for a first impression. It is not a color, a frequency, or a number someone can measure off you. In the first minute, people notice pace, warmth, and how much of the room you take. They do not notice your intentions. The quiz asks what you tend to do in that minute: hold back, meet one person, or walk in already talking.

The three results are quiet, warm, and bright. Quiet means you let the other person start. Warm means you stay with one conversation. Bright means you treat the room as yours to open. None of these is more likable. A quiet entrance can read as calm or as distance. A bright one can read as easy or as a lot.

What to do with it

If friends say you seem hard to approach and you don't want that, the change is small and physical: look up when someone joins, say the first sentence, stay for the answer. If you are tired of hosting every silence, you can let one pass. The result is a description of a habit, not a rank.

What it cannot see

Strangers also react to things you don't control, including bias. A quiz about your habit is not an explanation of how every room treats you. And mysterious is not a personality. It is often just a person who hasn't spoken yet.
