Therapist friend, hype friend, mom friend

The job you pick up in a group, and the point where it gets heavy.

Most friend groups hand out unofficial jobs. Someone listens past midnight. Someone turns a bad story into a plan. Someone remembers the birthday, the charger, and who needs a ride. The quiz uses therapist, hype, and mom friend because those are the words people already use. They are roles, not identities. You can do all three in one month.

The questions are about what you do when a friend is upset, when a plan is dying, and when nobody is keeping track. The result is whichever job you reached for most often in those six scenes.

When the role gets heavy

The listener who never gets a turn becomes the group's unpaid support. The hype friend who can't say "I'm not up for it" burns out on their own bit. The mom friend who always brings the practical thing starts to feel like staff. A useful result names the job so you can put it down sometimes. It is not a compliment you have to keep earning.

What it doesn't mean

Being the listener does not make you a therapist, and it does not oblige you to take on a friend's crisis. If someone is in danger, or you are, a quiz result is the wrong tool. Contact a person you trust or a local service.
